Every piece in Hydros was drawn by Dale Forward. The whole set was finished before the collection existed as a mint, and the edition numbers were assigned afterwards by a shuffle nobody steered.

Each artwork is delivered at 4000 by 4000 pixels, the full resolution the piece was drawn at, not a resized preview.

Minted directly on the XRP Ledger as XLS-20 tokens, with the artwork and the metadata both pinned to IPFS.

Every piece carries its own edition number in its on-chain metadata. That record is permanent.

Provenance Record

Edition numbers were assigned by a shuffle run before minting, so nobody chose which artwork became which number. The result is published in full.

The record lists every edition with its source file, byte size and SHA-256 hash. Hash any Hydro image you own and it will match its row, which is how you can confirm the piece you hold is the piece that was minted under that number.

Allowlist Mint

Whitelisted community supporters receive a 24-hour exclusive window on XRP.cafe to claim up to 2 Hydros per wallet.

PHASE 2 · IMMEDIATE

Public Mint

Unminted Hydros open to the broader XRPL community on XRP.cafe until every piece is in collector hands.

ON COMPLETION

Provenance Published

The full shuffle record and the IPFS content identifier are published, so every edition can be checked against the artwork it was minted from.

Terms of Sale

1. What a Hydro is. A Hydro is a digital artwork issued as an XLS-20 token on the XRP Ledger. Buying one is a completed purchase of that artwork. It is not a share, security, unit, debt, equity, partnership interest, collective investment scheme or financial product of any kind, and it confers no interest in any business, entity or account.

2. No expectation of profit. A Hydro carries no entitlement to profits, revenue, capital appreciation, dividends, interest or yield, and none is offered or implied. Buy a Hydro because you want the artwork. Do not buy one expecting a financial return from the efforts of the artist or anyone else.

3. No promised utility. Nothing beyond the artwork itself is promised, now or later. No access, membership, service or benefit forms part of this sale.

4. Artwork and rights. The artwork is by Dale Forward and remains his. Buying a Hydro transfers the token and a personal right to display the artwork you own. It does not transfer copyright and does not grant commercial rights.

5. Risk. Digital asset prices are volatile and a Hydro may be worth less than you paid, or nothing. Ledger transactions are irreversible. You are responsible for the security of your own wallet and for your own tax position. Nothing on this page is financial, investment, legal or tax advice.
